Are there even people that don't believe that Crosby/Malkin are the best duo in the league? These blogs are sort of redundant, no? (I'm not trying to troll or be disrespectful in any way)

No, Kane and Toews are the best because Rape and Leadership....

I knew this was going to happen. Malkin is signed through 2022 at a hit of $9.5m per, and they cant find a consistent role for him? He comes back to spare-change wrong-wing shifts...leading perhaps to centering Kuhnhackl and Rust...while the HBK line cannot be touched? This is the seductive corruption that is Kessel and Hagelin's speed game. Hagelin the Serpent. The chemistry seems so easy, until time and space are choked off in the PO's. Before you know it, disappearing production leads to finger pointing, and your run is done before it's really begun. Hags to his proper slot as an energy guy on the 4th line, PLEASE, before its too late!
- meta_puck_luck

You're the guy that came in and wrote that long post about how Hagelin is a cold blooded sociopath, aren't you?

I just want to see the past two months effort next game. If they lose this series and they didn't give it their all I'm going to be disgusted. If they give it their all and still lose I can live with it.

I hope he plays too. No way his bones healed that fast.

He played 3 games on a broken foot in the ECF last year and you couldn't even tell he was injured until game 7 when the freezing took a period to take effect so he could skate

one of our biggest problems last game..."hope plays". "i hope this works"...."i hope this makes the highlights". we need to quit with that sh!t already.

i 100% agree maata needs to sit probably the rest of the post season. he can get a head start on conditioning.

i fear fluery coming back cold and maybe we play our best game of the playoffs and still lose. he's good at laying an egg at precisely the wrong time.

lastly....so Guile is banned but he can still read all the comments, he just cant contribute, right? with that being said i always felt like he was Victoro's cheerleader and not the other way around.

Could very well be 2-0 if Hank doesn't have that freak injury in game 1

It was 0-0 before the stick hit him. If he's healthy we could squeak out a 1-0 or 2-1 win.

And it could be 2-0 our way if we had actually decided to play Saturday. Could haves and should haves count for less than nothing in this world. Just results.

I think what he's saying is that if Hank can see properly, he never let's that puck come out from the side of the net, right on to Horny's stick.
Maybe, maybe not. We'll never know.
What we do know is we'll have lots more hockey between two very good teams!

...and lots more questionable calls both ways. Refs AND linesmen. Just brutal.

For sure. The refs were a couple minutes away from totally losing control last game, because they let all the over-the-line stuff go, and then they would call someone for a slight infraction.
Linesmen calling offside on a perfectly good rush and not calling it when it's fairly obvious. No wonder there are challenges left and right.

I understand what he's saying but it was stupid. We can't deal in hypotheticals we can only deal in facts. It went in and we won and the series is 1-1. I agree these are 2 very good teams. It's going to be a lot of fun and frustration

That's kind of ironic, because we wouldn't mind seeing Mac test that hand! (in fact, we kinda NEED him to!)

We were tied in game 7 after 2 periods. Whoever was gonna win that 3rd period was advancing and it ended up being the Lightning. Sucks but it is what it is and McDonagh was not at fault in that game.

Why do I find the Kings and Ducks being down 2-0 somewhat comforting?...

I really should be 2-0 for the Rangers, they had us playing their style of hockey for 5 periods. Really Zatkoff stole game one for us/Lundqvist injury.
That said, last game in period three we finally saw the Pens play the way they had been playing over the last month.
