I don't remember them cheering about a seriously injured player. Nothing wrong with the White hit. Just like nothing wrong with Ovechkin's. To say there was no difference in the reaction is foolish.

I remember them cheering.

It's Brooks Orpik. You didn't cheer when they got Bin Laden?

Thank you for that

Hard to take the NHL serious with Pierre on their broadcast.

It is insulting to real fans to listen to this (frank).

Ha, cheering someone who has a potential serious injury. So funny. The majority of your fans really are piles of poop.
- TheEllsProject

I was laughing my ass off.

I'll continue to laugh too. And I also hope Ovechkin gets blown up. It won't be against the Flyers, because there's only going to be 4 more periods to get him. But one day it'll happen. Or he'll miss somebody trying to kill them and separate his shoulder

They would've lost on another goal later on, because let's face it they aren't gonna score again.
- Yosimar89

very likely...but obviously we don't know that. all it takes is a single shot to change the game. the caps have done twice now - i hate to say it - 2 horrendous ones.

gudas hits the post. that just as easily could have gone in and tied the game. holtby had no goddamn idea where the puck was.

they have to go to the net to score. that's how rafl's goal was created. he made that happen.

A un inspired 2nd period...BUT it's only 2-1... They have been in every game....the big boys have to show up....Flyers don't win if the top line can't produce....oh and there's nothing wrong with the White hit.....if Ovie through it the announcers would be creaming in their jeans.
- landros 2

Have you been watching this (frank)ing series? 2-1 might as well be 5-0 with how these teams have played.

I don't like the passive style of our PK either, but a more aggressive style requires mobile D. Not sure we have that right now.

With MDZ coming back, the addition of Provorov and maybe a player Hexy has in mind in an off-season move, we'll have the mobility needed to be more aggressive.

After the series they better disclose Girouxs broken wrists and fractured spine. Its the only way I can not hate his (frank)ing face.

Don't feel like reading past comments ... what was the feeling on the 2nd goal? Great shot by Ovie or a whiff by Mase?

Looked like a bad goal, imo.

- FlyerGuy

I consider it both.

But in the playoffs, you gotta have that. Ovechkin or not

I know your douchebag fans enjoyed knocking Couturier out. Surprised they didn't boo Ed Snider's tribute.

I was just going to comment about how passive they've been on the PK.

Funny though, I seem to remember them putting much more pressure on the puck handler in the regular season. Seems like they're playing scared on the PK.

you bet, hammar

Sounds a lot like Ovechkin. Runs around like a jackass taking liberties left and right. And Wilson.

Maybe they'll collide in the neutral zone during one of the Caps' 4 penalties this period and take each other out for a few months.

Any doubts that Holtby saves an unscreened wrist shot from that far out?

Mason needs to save that
