I don't know but they aren't moving a team out of a major market.

I agree, but what about Long Island?

They hate it. The owners hate it, the front office hates it, the fans hate it.

The peanut vendors hate it! And by golly, if I could get down there, I'd be hating it!

the LIRR drops them off almost right outside the main entrance, anyone trying to to drive into brooklyn is an idiot

I wonder how many of the players take public transportation to the games.

C'mon, this is definitely an NHL caliber arena.

I thought it was hilarious they had to wait for a stoppage of play so Tavaras could come out after the intermission. I get the old rinks being built like that but why would you build a new arena that doesn't have access to the locker room from the bench?

Its amazing. I couldn't imagine paying any amount of money for a seat where I couldn't see one of the nets.

Still plenty of seats for tonight's game, at face value. Which is still hefty. But tonight is shaping up to be a good one with some sort of Snider Tribute plus the first home game in the playoffs.

Of note, if anyone is looking for the EMS jersey patches, icejerseys.com has them. I bought a couple, and I will get them sewn on to honour Mr. Snider.

I'm sure all players for all teams experience traffic related issues from time to time.

I meant the Players. They say it's 45 minutes to an hour by train. Games days are all day. They train in, practice for a half hour, eat at the rink, have day rooms at a local hotel/motel then head back for the game, train home at the end of the night.

Doesn't sound ideal.

From what I understand most Rangers players chose to live in Manhatten since their HQ, practice rink and home ice are all right there.

The Isles HQ and practice facility are still in Nassau.
