The big part of JBs term so far I like. To me his weakness has been how ineffective he has been at TDL. Two years in a row no moves. That needs to change IMO - VANTEL
Well I agree I wish he had made some moves a big problem is we have a dillusional fan base (not you). I have "knowledgeable buddies" that still think we could have gotten a first for Vrbata! We all complain that Hamhuis and Vrbata are sh!t and then demand a kings ransom! Do people not think scouts watch Canucks games? |

has anyone been able to successfully answer this question with actual logic? - Codes1087
Exactly. The one night they did bring him in he played 8 mins 4 th line.. |

I think its REAL easy for you sit behind a computer screen and act as though negotiations for trades are an easy process, not factoring into account term/dollars/clauses and the going rate on the market at the time of the trade. - Codes1087
At any point did I state literally that I could have made better trades then JB. Don't take my opinion as me saying I'm better at this. I just think that a team that is trying to get younger could be using those draft picks they put into these trades just to make the trade happen if that is the case. Just relax, don't try and act as if your different from the rest of the people in here. |

That Clendening trade still boggles my mind. "goes to the buffet table puts headcheese on his plate...Oh wait I don't like headcheese" At least he didn't hesitate to get rid of him, which to me is an open admission of him making a mistake and dealing with it. |

you just named off JB's Worst to Best trades as per your own opinion correct?
Now you are saying that JB's tactics during trade negotiations are bad because he keeps sending away picks?
Now you are getting angry that I am stating that your reasoning lacks knowledge based off the fact that you are sitting behind a computer and not in the Canucks office, and somehow I am in the wrong here? |

You are being super critical of everything JB has done in short time at the helm, and clearly are becoming defensive because someone is countering your statements. Grow up man. If you can't take a little ribbing on an internet forum, you won't go far in life. |

Clendenning trade and Sutter trade are the same trade.
People forget we gave up Bonino who everyone here disliked , Clendenning who still hasn't proved he is an NHLer and a second for Sutter and a third. I take that trade every time. |

Hey i'm sorry, my original post about JB's trade that he made over the season asking the forum what they thought were the best and worst trades he had made this season. Other people understood it, you clearly have not. |

I liked SHink I watched him come up from juniors to AHL he has game and I did not know Granlund from a hole in the wall. For the record I don't think 5' 11" is an undersized forward. eg. Sidney Crosby ( DOnt go crazy I am only comparing height nothing more.) |

Are there any good NHLers that provide secondary scoring that are under 5'10? |

He probably doesn't. But the reason I never liked it was because of the timing.. There was no rush to trade him for the return we got.. I understand he said he tried moving him for a D man and there was no bites. But with the way he was playing wasn't it worth letting him continue to play in Utica and up his value for a trade down the road? That's my only thoughts on it - MaWLz
I agree with this. I understand that with Sutter out most of the season and McCann turning invisible they wanted C depth but to what end? We were crashing and burning anyways. Shink could have been worth more in the summer and I doubt he would have been worth less.
Granlund is an alright player. There isnt much room for him when we are healthy though.
