Benning is in Grand Forks North Dakota watching the U18 and I don't know how he can't be impressed with Dante Fabbro.

5 Points in 2 games, which is tied for the tournament lead in points.

Seen him play lots, first round no way imo.

Interesting. Usually first hand experience is the best judgement. It's a weak draft are you sure? What makes you think that?

would you be skeptical to draft him if he went the college route?(with all this demko/boesser drama and given the fact that he is most likely going college route)

Dubious is cheap player, don't want him.
- manvanfan

I'll gladly Have him.. I honestly think inside top 5 now we take a forward.. There's more upside to them then our need at D I think.. Also wonder if signing Stecher also changes anything in that thought process that we can add another good D man @ 33

Not really, he just doesn't impress me, then what do I know about scouting. I think there are better options.

I thought the way that San Jose handled the whole Thorton captaincy situation was clumsy as fck, but Pavelski was a good choice. That guy digs deep.

You know what's funny?

When you say the same thing over and over again.

I love that. Hilarious humor, it's just so witty.

Anyone know what the deal is with the Torts 2nd round pick?
Does CLB not have to set the year in stone at some point?

The college hysteria is so overblown it is unbelievable.

In the NCAA you control the right for 3 to 4 years.
In the CHL you control the rights for 2 years.

Both are good development choices. Jimmy Vesey and Kevin hayes represent like 1% of drafted college players. It isn't common.

Not bad for a 7th round pick, 205 overall (spelled out for Scooby)

It has to be before the draft, maybe June 1st.

Yeah, a pick or two like that might help speed up the ol' rebuild.

He isn't rated as a top 10 pick. Won't be overly noticeable. does he do the little things?

But they have to announce at some date prior to the draft what their option is for 2016.

On the 2nd-round pick going to Van for Torts, the Jackets have until June 1 2016 to decide if it's 2016, 2017 or 2018 pick.
