This is actually a valid argument against signing him. Just saying that the free agent route is FREE. Also...he is definitely a player you hate until you have him on your squad. I used to think Steve Ott was a major punk until he dawned the blue and gold.

Yeah he will want 6 and get it somewhere. I know LA wants to resign him, but they sit at 57 million without a back up goalie, trevor lewis, versteeg, lucic, schenn, mcnabb or mcbain signed. If the cap stays where it is, they will be another team that is cap strapped. If they have 18 million to play with and those folks to resign...not sure 6 million is in the cards for that partnership.

All of the extra NBC channels (CNBC, NBCSN) are cable channels out here. I literally have basic cable, my local stations and a million paid for TV advertising channels.
Though, the hockey gods blessed me today and bestowed the Hawks/Blues on me on regular NBC.
Of course, its like, 80 degrees and sunny outside!

Interesting, just read one about 3 players the Sabres should sign in free agency. They raised some of the obvious ones, but one I had not thought of was Lucic. I hate his guts, well hated. I don't hate anymore, just don't like his face...that smug look. Hard to say, but he might be a decent fit on our team.

I have to subscribe to a package of 360 channels.
Its more than $20.
And again, i still get blacked out if the game is on the NHL network, which AT&T wont carry.
If the sabres were in the playoffs, it would be a no brainer.
