Wtf game are you people even watching? The Flyers were executing fantastically in all zones, and even their new look PP generated chance after chance. They didn't score but they looked hella good so far. For (frank)s sake...

Flyers are playing a nice game so far. Shutting down the Cap's rush, they're up on their skates, and sustaining a good forecheck. But for Holtby, the game would be looking a lot different.

I would just like them to take Holtby's vision away a little more and take better percentage shots. The last PP looked nervous and rushed.

they did generate chances, a few good ones, but still not making life tough on holtby. Not nearly tough enough. Gotta work harder down low. Make your breaks.

Am I the only one who thought the Flyers dominated that period? Holtby was staunch, but if they keep it up, they can win. Play even half like this and this is a series. The female dogging going on is baffling to me. Exited zone with ease, generated controlled entries, great forecheck, new look pp was solid, new look middle 6 has been great. No goal but this was a perfect start otherwise after last game.

Shot totals all you want. The 5 the caps took were of much higher quality. Flyers being kept to the outside.

I've been insanely critical the last 4 periods, but this period was their best. 5-3 or not, they at least got some real chances on Holtby.

They need to start being smart in the offensive zone. NZ and DZ have been solid. But there are plays where they rip a shot from the half wall that wouldn't go in against me ffs. Look up, look for a seam, get holtby moving, staND THE (frank) IN FRONT OF HIM, and get a one timer through. That's how you get goals in the playoffs, and that's how they're going to score.

As I said, my bp is going to be at least 185/110 until they (frank)ing score. I'm furious.

As i mentioned in the previous page they had a very good period... still it's hard to get pass the fact they're still down.

I don't see them keeping this pace up for the entire game, especially when the Caps are a team you must get in the 1st period because they get better as the game goes along.

Scored on an awful PK play on a seeing eye point shot. Then that lucky pass/probable bank in attempt from Backstrom to Ovi. Otherwise I didn't see any dangerous plays. Flyers had a ton of crash the net scramble plays on loose pucks. Caps generated zero second chance plays.
