Far too focused on officiating and not getting calls against you.

Problem is when you are hitting guys 20 lbs heavier you tend to bounce off of them and on the flip side when hit you go flying. I don't know what the average size of the team is but it had to be on the smaller side

Hartnell deal was and is an okay deal.

He however would have gone against the preaching and taken a run at Holtby. Or made his life miserable. The caps have been good in boxing out but the flyers need to get in Holtbys head.

This approach of playing clean and avoiding penalties at all cost is on coaching. A drum I beat, and generally like what Hak has done but some things just anger me.

Wednesday - We are just happy they made the playoffs a year or two earlier than we all thought they would at the beginning of the year.

Today - This team sucks and is an embarrassment to all that is holy...

I really don't think its a matter of G not showing up. When your second line is 12-10-89 and your third line is 21-52-24 and I am the opposition I just smother the hell out of G's line. there is no secondary scoring to help out the first line.

No, because I was rooting for them to make the playoffs, and now I'm rooting for them to win.

And they're not. It's (frank)ing poop.

In fact, it's embarrassing. It's effortless for the Caps. They flick a shot from the point and it goes in. We flick a shot from the point and fan. Or it hits shin pads 35 feet in front of Holtby. Or it goes right into his crest.

Let's take a quick, 1 question quiz. It's a K type question. They'll be all over the exam I'm gonna bomb on Monday.

The powerplay is 0/49 or whatever. Holtby saw an unscreened point shot on a 5 on (frank)ing 3. They never make the Caps hold their breath. The 40 shots might as well have been 4. The referees are hilarious and so is the Flyers PK which mixes like vodka and motor oil. The Caps are taking runs at our guys and nobody (frank)ing cares. They're far from in this series. Unless they miraculously band together and turn those 40 shots into actual quality chances for the next 2 games, forget it.

Losing is garbage. (frank) "I'm just happy to get in". They're in and I want to them win and/or not get pounded on. (frank) this. (frank) Holtby. (frank) Ovechkin. (frank) Tom Wilson. (frank) Don Cherry. (frank) the sissy "oh well they're ahead of schedule in the rebuild :D" bullpoop.

Can't fault the effort....it's a bruising team to try and play against. So far it's just one team finishing and one team just sputtering offensively....need to finish if your going to have a chance.

Yep. And the backend provides zero help offensively outside of Ghost. No rush ability, turnover happy, and can't execute simple tape to tape passes in stride let alone high skill plays. That's going to change. Is what it is right now.
