Honestly, as of right now.. I think Provorov is as much of a sure thing as can be. Konecny seems probable, and I believe that if Morin doesnt start with the team that he'll be the first call up when the inevitable defense injury occurs.

I am not being fickle at all. But I think fans also underestimate how much pain and patience is enough. Just because the Flyers ignored the future and splurged on the present does not mean the gods will reward them with the slightest change of strategy. A sequence of first rounds 10-20 picks may not do it.

Obviously drafting well is vital. Obviously building a team and winning the cup isn't easy. I don't think its a "slightest" change of strategy. its been a huge change with the emphasis on drafting from the back end out. Obviously prospects have to pan out but when was the last time they had this many promising goalie and dmen prospects? after watching them throw money to every big name FA and trade away pick after pick to no avail I am more than happy to be patient and see this through even if it takes several years

Honestly I hoping all three are ready to be here and that Hextall pulls the trigger on something to significantly improve the top 6 offensive output. They urgently need to get better 5 on 5.
