I am not particularly upset at the goal, or the fact they are likely out in 4-5 games. But what is so damning for the futur prospects of this team is the absolute goal scoring impotence. This team needs at least 2 more very good players in the top 6. This has been my pet peeve for the past 3 years. The top line is really a 2nd line on playoff teams, if that.

I totally disagree that a line of 10/93-28-17 is a second line on a playoff team, I do however agree that they need 1-2 more good players in the top 6. Raffl is a good 3rd liner. Gagner isn't a top 6 guy on a good team.

Jackson is one of the three worst refs in the game... Tim Peel and Chris Lee being the other two (personally I think Peel and Lee are far worse, but Dave Jackson has been poopting the bed in the NHL for years).

I thought Kelly Sutherland was supposed to be a pretty good ref, I never really noticed his games being poopshows until this year. He's been awful this year.

Walked away to help the kids with a toy. They score.

fans are so (frank)ing fickle. the Flyers always went all in year after yr to the detriment of the team. they finally get a GM that has a long range plan and a few yrs in people are losing patience already. when was the last time this organization had a group of prospects rated as high as they do now? 80's? Hextall inherited some contracts that I thought would hinder the team for years to come (Pronger/Vinny) that he was able to shed.
