That's fine. Your beating this series down our throats and it's not even over! Pens are clearly the favorite no doubt but to say it's over after one game is stupid. maybe you didn't say that but enough did. So whatever good luck the rest of the way.
- Bobd62

Bob I have to say, the talk in here from what I've read is about our injured guys returning & where they play. Very little if anything is promoting the Pens team trashing the series, but a couple of Rags posters always seem to jump in & throw it out there that we are - Marauder isn't 1 of those guys.

So it seems the Rags fans are just bringing in the anxt & creating something out of nothing. That dropkick dangerous ranger picks this thread like his nose then a couple of you others sneak in on his coat tails stirring it up then accusing us of doing it!!

Do us all a favour, go watch the video of the last time the Rags won the cup - did they have TV back then?? and let the Pens fans discuss Pens things!!

Keith with 30 minutes toi! Game plan going forward - smash DK.

Did anyone expect anything other than a tight start? I'm surprised it didn't go to OT again!

No you didn't you jaggaloon. This was your first comment:

"Can't discuss hockey here unless you talk about the almighty pens in the eastern conference finals. They beat the Rangers the other night. "

- Victoro311

Yes Vic, I do believe you have a point! Now in Bobs defence, he probably thinks that is a "g'day, how they hangin (frank)ers?"

The first words out of my mouth when Hank was doing his impression of all the trout I will catch tom were "I hope hes F'ing dead". I have zero remorse for it.

Today's the day that the ND swim team throws their big fundraiser kegger/cookout that starts at 9 so new goal is to stay together until game time. Hell of a way to let loose and pregame before puck drop though. Plus it's finally sunny and in the 70s

I think JZ starts today and Malkin plays, but I think he gets about 10 minutes of ice time...mostly on PP. I would guess the Rev sits.

My thoughts exactly. MAF as the backup.

I think they sit MAF out one more game, that gives him another few days to rest. They are going to need him to win the series, but id rather he be 100%. Hopefully it wont take long to shake off the rust. From all reports, it sounds like Geno is ready to go and his game looks great.

Theoretically they can ease him back in.

But this is Malkin, if he's dressed he's going to be hard to keep on the bench.

I'm score.

I agree it will be hard to limit his minutes, but i think HCMS has the full respect of the team and his wishes, with what he is trying to do. I mean, if they only played the 4th line a handful of minutes last game, dressing Malkin and getting 10-12 minutes from him is a bonus. I would love to see him come back and score a goal, the place would go nuts.

If Malkin does indeed dress today then he needs to have a good game with whatever ice time he's given. I think he has the worst confidence issues on the team. When things arn't going good he doesn't play as hard and takes more penalties. When things are going good he's one of the, if not best, players on the planet.

And honestly, if all he does is breathe some life into the power play, that's all they need for now.

It's scary to think what the Penguins would have posted had their power play been up to snuff over those last 14 regular season games.

I don't think it's a lack of confidence. In fact I'd say it's overconfidence. When he gets frustrated he doesn't deal with it well. But with the depth right now, he's not going to have the total attention of the other team's best defenders, which makes me think we're going to see a very effective Malkin.

I guess over confidence is a confidence issue too, really...but I agree with all of that and hope the last part is true. Gonna be a slow 4 hours here this afternoon...

The Pens were starting to roll before he was injured. They would of been even better had he not went down, which is a scary thought for the 29 other teams.

Here's your response chachi. If Crosby got injured ranger fans would do the same thing probably cheer first because of his history of whining just like you accuse Hank of being dramatic the difference is no one would blog hoping he were dead faking blah blah blah. At least I would'nt. You can accuse me of being a troll all you want I don't give a (frank). Not about you the pens or this thread. I came here to discuss the series and that's all but after that response to lunqvist getting hurt I got angry. Do I like Crosby? No do I respect him ? Yes. My problem is nobody that good should whine that much. I will say it again good luck to you as long as your run lasts I don't give a frank about you or your fan base or anything you think of ranger fans. Look in the mirror.
- Bobd62

Crosby doesn't whine you imbecile, he passionately points out that he has just been assailed by 6 different guys in a 30 second span and less that 1/10 of the BS gets called. Lets see you do your job with a bunch of guys stabbing, spearing, slashing, punching, tripping you every step you take. I don't think you would be too happy either. And you would be spilling burritos and fountain pop all over the floor.
