It's pure stupididty to "play it safe". JUst watch every Ranger goal last year in the playoffs including Hagelens series winner. You'll see Lovejoy miss his assignment horribly. At least Shultz was dangerous on offense. He was a threat at least 5 times last game

Lets see you commit to a style Sullivan, Johnston refused to. The way you say you want to play has Pouliot and Shultz playing in this game. Unless you feel bad for the Rags and want to give them a little advantage. This is the first year where there is only one player on this team I can't stnd but I really really really hate him. Maatta is excellent postionally, he always makes the right play and keeps an excellent gap. He is obviously nursing an ankle or knee injury which is slowing him down but he's still an excellent player.

Very poor puck management. Too many forced passes and losing puck battles on the boards.

If they wanted to they could play Dumoulin with Letang, he's one of the top 4 fastest guys on this team and this is fast. They should Maatta on the shelf so he can heal. PLay Dumo/ Letang, Pouliot/ Daley, Cole/ SHultz and have it be a 2a, 2b situation. They will be much more dangerous offensively but they would have to trust Cole and Daley to PK along with Dumo and Letang. They just are not ready to be so unconventional. every team must dress an undynamic, stay at home, useless player like Lovejoy, no one is ready to make the leap and if any team can do it it's this one.
