If I lived in Europe, yes. Unfortunately the quality of football in North America is not great, though it is on the rise.

But the World cup and Euro cup are by far the best sports tournaments.

Truth be told I get more pleasure when my team scores a goal in soccer rather than in hockey. Maybe because we've been in tank mode... but goals in soccer are just so beautiful. It really is the beautiful game.

Watching TFC is not a good example. That's like watching a Leafs game from the last ten years to introduce someone to hockey.
