if stamkos were to sign in toronto for 10 million his take home would be 4.2 million after taxes and agent fees

This doesn't really change my thinking at all, to be honest.

I've always felt that Stamkos will come to Toronto if he wants to play in Toronto - money won't really be a factor in his decision.

There is no doubt in my mind, based on those numbers, that Stamkos could - BARE MINIMUM - make an extra $2 million in endorsements by coming to Toronto.

This doesn't really change my thinking at all, to be honest.

I think it's simple.

If stammer wants to come here, he will.

if he wants to stay in Tbay or rake in some cash - he will go to the highest bidder.

And as per my post above, I don't think money is what gets Stamkos to Toronto.

If he wants to play here, he will come. That's what you have to pray for every night.
