there's like 2 weeks without snow where we can play the game. is it that surprising.

It's kind of surprising we don't sneak in once in a while, considering all the immigrants we have and we have a bigger population than some of the Scandinavian countries that make it. It's all the money goes into hockey here. Our women's soccer team is good though, I guess they don't get siphoned off into the other sports as much.

i dont even like the nfl but that's dumb. soccer players pace themselves. nfl players go 100% every play, similar to hockey players with their shifts.

Soccer is actually the most played sport in Canada, since all you need is a ball. We just suck at developing players.

That's sort of what I mean, the money machine dedicated to producing players isn't there, like it is for hockey. Guys I know that were good at soccer all went to europe.
