So happy for the boys last night even though I thought being out played for most of the game. In a great win there was one guy who stood at the most and I mean STOOD out.
That was good ole Josh Bailey I think I literally saw him standing there for much of the game. He look lost and bewildered. He stay out on lines longer than he should. I would bench him tonight for either Bernier or even Boulton.
What is up with all these Wilson guys thinking they are tough. Colin Wilson for the Capitals this Wilson guy on the Panthers. I think the ISlanders need to play a little more physical and take control.
Greiss made some huge saves last night and in my opinion let up one bad goal. I hope to go up two games tonight it would be nice |

Matteau...Matteau...that's all I think about when he is on the air...I wish they would get a new broadcast team. And I've had with Butchie too... I like Rickie the best...I know you all hate him but I think with a good play by play guy he would be a very good listen... - kear20
Inside information I know his family real good and he already told the Islanders that he does not want to be doing hockey much longer because of the grind of schedule for hockey and baseball. He wants to concentrate more on base ball. just a couple of more years if that he has left |

I can't stand the crap that spews out of his mouth.
I swear to god, when I was watching whatever game he called the other night (CHI/STL?) he used the phrase "...and (player) ladles the puck down into the corner"
What the (frank) does "ladles the puck" even mean? Is it (frank)ing soup? - eichiefs9

Better then that (frank)ing jinx "This one will last a lifetime." I don't wish ill on anyone, but Sam is going to have to die for the Rangers to get another cup. |

Josh Bailey - had game-worst possession stats (7 for, 27 against, 20.6 SAT%) and was on for two goals against in a 5-4 win at Florida.
Alan Quine - Played a team-low 9:47 at Florida, but assisted on the game-winning goal.
I think their is strong possibility we could see Bernier in for Bailey tonight

How about Halmo |

The most entertaining game of the first round thus far.
Florida's got some serious firepower but the Isles aren't shabby in this department either and Luongo looks super shaky last night. The quick turnaround could be a bad thing, for the Isles though, because Florida poured it on last night and didn't seem to have a problem creating chances at will.
Fun game to watch in general; should be a good series. |

Who is in net tonight?
Greiss came up big last night but I think it's asking a lot of a career backup to play 3 games in 4 nights to start this series. If this was the regular season there's no way Greiss would be playing both ends of a back to back. I don't think it should be any different in the playoffs. I'd give Gibson the start and keep Greiss fresh for Sunday and beyond. |

I wouldn't even let Gibson in the building. That's how bad he is. |

Capuano: Greiss in goal, make some lineup decisions, doesn't expect too many changes.
