I was dying for him . One thing I know now is he's stubborn as hell, plays favorites with certain guys, and his team's are soft like him.

That was one of the big reasons i didn't want him. He took a tough group and turned them into marshmallow men. They back down so easily now. This group if behind 3-1 isn't rallying unless they throw him off th bench.

He drove the net from down the right wing boards and had a wrist shot from in close. Aside from those two didn't see much. Hayes wasn't good either. Few guys were good. Everybody but stepan needs to be better. Klein Yandle and Skjei are their most mobile but when the "mobility scooter men" are out there they're (frank)ed

Those game two numbers though are usually when they take game one. We didn't take game one. They know they need game two. How many hours till puck ? 50+?

How did Skjei play? Like the guy a lot. Also, I agree with most people here (based only on a handful of games I've seen) that McIllrath should player over Girardi.

Playoff losses are always gutwrenching, this one is worse cause of Hank & that we let a 3rd string goalie hand us our lunch. We certainly didn't play terrible, they just buried their chances & we did not. 1 game yes, but you saw those statistics in past series between these teams. The winner of Game 1 has won all 6 previous series.

Trying to stay positive but 2 days off is killer. Saturday afternoon is a LONG way away.

Gotta really start to cash in on opportunities too. Even if they don't score on the 2:30+ mins left on the Hagelin double minor and don't allow the shorty it's 2-1. They get lazy once the puck is cleared and it leads to a 2 on 1 and you allow them score? Yandle did a poor job there but that's 5 skaters out there as well. Gotta be better. Certain guys have to step up.

2 days gives Hank time to recover, Rangers didn't play bad, the Pens capitalized on every mistake and every bounce, have to eliminate them, I didn't see an opponent that blew us away

If Hank doesn't get hurt Rangers win that game. They were in complete control before his injury then that deflated the team I feel a bit. Just couldn't recover and Pens made them pay
