I think it's pathetic the Pittsburgh puts their third string goalie, a guy who played once in four months not counting flyers game and this joke of a team musters two goals on almost forty shots. |

Rangers will be better, they say taking 1 out of the first two takes away home ice, they don't say it has to be game 1, come home with the momentum |

The most frustrating thing is we all know Girardi should sit and Mcilrath should play but AV won't do it . |

Really happy lundqvist wasn't hurt worse. That was awful to watch, hopefully he'll be okay for Saturday. Watching it, I saw one team score on a couple of mistakes, that's all. Pens certainly didn't dominate. I think this series goes 7. |

On the flip side, if I talk about RD's Little Richard...I'm only referring to his poor taste in music. - eichiefs9

Not trying to be a schmuck, but that's like saying Lincoln was solid until Wilkes-Booth enter the theater. - tomburton99
Well... I'd love to feel like the Pens ran them into the ground and that's not what I'm thinking heading into Saturday. I think this is a 6 or 7 game series IMO. |

Am I the only one who thinks the pens get a bunch of chances but equally the same amount of bounces? |

Its not bounces, the team with the hustle and intensity is the team that gets those loose and bouncing pucks.
Pen's get some dirty goals in front and took advantage of mistakes (2-1 and breakaway), The Rangers had shots from the perimeter. Take away the 5 on 3 goal and they probably get shutout - MiloslavHorava

My wife and kid saw that happen. sums it up. I think he probably has a blurry eye for a day or two. Fine if you get smacked in the eye as an average guy, you shake it off and sleep on it, but a goalie can't play like that.
Hope it doesn't turn into Berard, Staal, Lundvist. |

Still can't believe we outshot you that badly in the 1st. Granted, most weren't quality shots, but put the puck on net and see what happens. |

You should look back in this blog for my comment, and even in the Pens blog... we were not happy with that from our fanbase. |

A team isn't in trouble until it loses at home - way out west
Unless ur the lower seed and win every game at home and lose the series 4-3 |

Move Skjei up to second line, sit Boyle or G, play McIlrath on third pairing until McD is back.
When McD comes back, McD-Klein, Yandle-McIlrath, Skjei-Staal, but he won't do it.
Sit Stalberg for Hrivik. E Staal was invisible. Nash wan't horrible but not as noticeable as he needs to be. Brassard stunk.
Too many passengers tonight, can count on one hand those who really showed up, Stepan, Glass, Skjei, maybe a few others. Strong first 12 minutes of game, then yucch. |

It was one guy who shouted it... an a minor amount of cheering.... but enough that it was heard on air, and an embarrassment for the disrespect showed. |
