Didn't see the game on TV so thanks for the help. Tough game #1....no Keith, recovering Crow, recovering Shaw, Mash.........fingers crossed but who knows....good bounce here or there.....

I posted before that Troy hasn't done much in the post season in his career and that I hoped that trend continues. He has been pretty clutch against the Hawks though in the RS even with the Caps. He may help them stay disciplined but he has also been prone to bad penalties himself. It was one of Q's problems with him.

Swollen Ass Channel (Ott) being out may help them more in the discipline department.

Seeing the roster the Hawks are dressing the Blues probably smell blood and want to just play hockey. Their posters here - a number of whom constantly express contempt for this thread, Eli, and that JJ is "homer" etc... over on Jammer's thread are here for the same reason. They see the roster and smell blood. The cap was eventually going to give them that opportunity.

They need to keep in mind that they are 3 Cups in 6 years away from bragging rights though.

Wont matter Hitch has last change. Will look for matchups to put this line against Toesw or Kane's line. Would say STL line against either bottom two of hawks lines is the look he is wanting.

I think you have to avoid Fabbri's line against either the Toews or Kane line which means Tarasenko will have to go head to head against them some. Just my thought.

If LA wins the Cup this year, they win 3 out of 5 years vs Hawks 3 out of 6 years. BUT they missed the playoffs altogether last year. So the question is, if that happens....which "dynasty" is better?

My dad likes hockey. My mom loves hockey. My dad would rather sit at home and maybe watch the game.....or some bad science fiction movie.

Except he's pretty poor IMO. Certainly laterally and weak on his skates. At least a figure skater could haul ass up and down the ice really fast.

I hope you get that too... long after Toews and Kane have passed their primes and the Hawks have at least 3 more Cups. This is also a wish for your dad to live quite a bit longer so it is in your interest to jump on board with it.

I brought this up a few blogs ago.
My feeling is once you miss the playoffs, you have to reset the count. It's like saying they made the playoffs 5 straight years, except 1.
But, most fans won't think that way, they will be fed what the media feeds them.
