I thought for certain that it was Peel reefing tonight. I was shocked when i looked at the roster report and its not.

How do they not call that trip?? The missed high stick against Petro?? they have 2 refs for a reason and both missed those?

- BluesDroogie

Even the Hawks announcers calling those "tough" calls. About as close to admitting they were BS as they get.

Major? Hawks fans would be screaming for a 10 game suspension if Backes had done it.

Yup, and their player would have stayed down on the ice a lot longer.

If you ever see one in person, ask them who was captain before Toews. Pretty much none of them know without looking it up.

Damn who was it??

I remember back when Roenick and Chelios were on the hawks but there is a decade that i don't remember anything about them.

Aucoin & Lapointe split the job.

Would love to hear the refs explanation for how that wasn't a penalty on Mashinter.

It was a scrub because the Hawks sucked back then. Aucoin or LaPointe

Good call, Antilles.

Right, but I'm sure you don't care about the half dozen or more boarding or cross checks by St.louis players that went uncalled? No?

How long is this game going to last???

How long has it been since we got an actual shot through to Crawford. Stay out of the box. Stay 5 on 5 and get shots through to the net. Our pp sucks. 4 chances maybe 1-3 shots for them all.

Given the equal number of "boardings", crosschecks, and interferences from the Hawks that have gone uncalled, no. How many high sticks on Blues have been uncalled? How often have Blues played the puck before leaving the box?

getting involved in the play while both skates are still in the box is a bit different then the refs letting the players play. Both teams are getting away with shots at each other. Its PLAYOFF HOCKEY. Cant whine and female dog about hits. Deal with it. But a player with both skates in the penalty box getting involved in the play is different.

Even if your claim is true which I'm certain it isn't, except for maybe the teen fans, in what valid sense is it a relevant point?

No there's no difference. If the refs aren't calling blatant penalties on either side you don't get to whine about a non call on either side. So I agree with you otherwise.

In reply to a comment about hating Blackhawks fans, how is pointing out how many of them are bandwagon fans not relevant?

The point being over your head doesn't equal there not being one.

Refs are allowed discretion on certain penalties. They aren't on others. Accepting them using it both ways where it's part of the game doesn't mean accepting them using it where they aren't allowed any.

Then thats like just ignoring the Chelios rule(aka the delay of game when the puck clears the glass from the defensive zone, w/o touching anything)

Certain things must be called, why not let players play the puck from the bench then to help out their team.

It's funny, every year I read the St. Louis blogs during their postseason play and every year I see you whining about the same poop. Boo hoo, ref didn't call this, refs didn't call that, Blues got screwed. Blah blah whine whine. You are the quintisential homer.

Might want to consider the perception of your own teams fans before reaching such a hasty conclusion in regards to others on one measly blog site.

If it's the same thing every year, then there is no need for you to read it and certainly no need for you to comment, unless you are just looking to troll.

Suddenly the refs want to call the stuff they are required to by the book. At least, if it's against the Blues.
