That bullpen is shakier than a blind 'happy in the 60's' guy at a wiener roast.

Beginning to think we got the short end of the Revere/Storen trade.

Montreal needs to obviously address the roster but what I really can't understand at this point is how they have not gone the same route as Ottawa and cleaned house of the GM and Coach. In the end the shortcomings of the roster fall on the GM's shoulders, while if you are replacing one might as well replace the other and clean house. I think Montreal may well regret not doing that in the long run.

Revere played two innings on opening day and then got hurt and is on the DL. Has Storen been that bad?

Montreal is the complete opposite of Ottawa. Montreal sticks with what doesn't work while basically admitting that they know it doesn't work. in Ottawa, Melnyk is a complete sociopath who is so far removed from reality that it's actually terrifying. guy goes into hysterics when his $13 million roster comes up short and constantly blames no one but his coaches.

but in the end, the two organizations just take different routes to the same train wreck.

3.1 IP
3 ER
1.80 WHIP
8.10 ERA

Lobbed a bomb to Texiera last night in a 3-1 game in the 8th.

Small sample, but has shown me nothing to think he's going to be a shutdown 8th inning guy.

EDIT: His slider has no bite, and his fastball is getting hammered.
