I feel like the rule changes need to happen with these draft pucks choosing not to sign, and becoming FA's. It seems pretty common now with the NCAA players. Time to stop drafting them.....is it just too risky?

In my opinion, if you don't sign with your drafted team, you should not be able to sign as an FA. And instead go back into the draft. Or better yet, be given a year penalty, where you cannot be drafted, and go play in europe or something, then you go into the next draft.

I'm surprised it wasn't on the agenda when the GM's got together. Happened two three years in a row(it think?) now with some pretty quality players in Hayes, Rielly and now Vesey. Definitely agree.
