I'm torn there. Bailey (frank)ing blows, but when his game is on he can actually end up being quite useful. Problem is 9 out of 10 times, his game isn't on. Bernier is just filler. On one hand, I want to bump Clutterbuck up the lineup and play Bernier on the 4th line...but on the other, I don't want to break up that 4th line. So the problem becomes that Bernier sucks too much to give more minutes to, but if you play him on the 4th, you're breaking up a great thing.

Bailey will get yet another chance to show he's more useful than toad stool. If he can't find a way to be a effective, consistent player in both ends of the ice at this stage of his career and in this setting then he needs to be moved out, possession statistics be damned

Quine and Prince in, Bernier out tonight. Pulock in on D. #Isles

Prince-Quine-Strome third line. Berube backing up Greiss tonight.

Asked Johnny Boychuk to empathize with Panthers D having to play 3 games in 4 nights v. the Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck trio. "It would suck"

If they play like they did against the Caps, I'm confident that we can have a positive outcome in this series. That's not a cocky confidence, but they busted their asses against the Caps last year. With Hammer in the lineup and no dead-weight on defense, I feel a lot better going in.

Panthers PK is near the bottom of the league, 24th overall, so hopefully this year our PP can score 1 goal or more in the series. We finished the season in the middle of the pack at 17th overall on the PP.

Panthers PP was pretty bad this season as well, 23rd overall, and that will be going up against our 4th ranked PK.

Islanders have no choice but to win the special teams battles, that will be absolutely key. Panthers are really, really good 5v5. If the Isles can have moderate success 5v5 and dominate the special teams category, things will be looking very nice.

As long as they do not play like Game 7 vs. the Caps. The PP better show up this series. I feel good about the PK.

#Isles will announce today Michael Dal Colle headed to BPT on an amateur tryout. Contract only starts if he plays for #Isles in postseason.

In fairness, I was only regurgitating what Staple said would happen. He said a week ago that Barzal would be the only prospect playing in juniors that they would consider calling up to the big club if/when his season ended. If Niagara is eliminated in the next series, Ho-Sang will be BPT as well.

Eager to see what Dal Colle and Ho-Sang can do at the next level. Should give us a better look at what to realistically expect if/when they make it to the NHL.

My buddy works for Fox Sports Florida. Said they are about 1,000 tickets short of a sellout. Fox just bought 300 tickets. Just asked me if I wanted to fly down for the game tonight free ticket
