Realistically, I'm pegging Toronto's chances in the lottery to the Raptors. If the Raps get bounced before the draft lottery, then the Leafs will pick 4th. If the Raps make it through the 1st round, Leafs will pick top 3.

Throwing out a race card is absurd and I wonder if you feel overly protective of Kadri due to your own insecurities.

I could care less if Kadri is white, black, yellow, orange or green. I could care less if Kadri were Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Atheist, Buddhist or an Alien - and I doubt most other Leaf fans care either.

I just hate his attitude, his narcissism, his diving, all the excuses made for him ("if" this and "if" that) and would love to see him moved to another team. I wouldn't give him away and would expect value back but would welcome that change.

Depending on how things pan out with draft and free agents, Kadri (especially with what his salary demands will be) will better serve the Leafs as trade bait.
