I really can.

The Komarov worship in here the past two years has been baffling.

- Atomic Wedgie

What's more baffling is you thinking he sucks.

He scored on pace with "The Dream" and did all the work to get the puck.

I'd say he's good for his price for sure.

Ignoring the embellishment, he really does have an incredible knack for drawing penalties. I think partly because he is so shifty and elusive, and partly because his play style pisses the other team off and they go after him.
- PlatosRepucklic

I like kadri.

I hate divers...yes I know he draws penalties sometimes with it....but the diving drives me nuts. Its why I cant watch aquatics during the Summer Olympics. HEY YO!!!

Anywho, its why Tucker started to drive me nuts.....too much drama and embellishment.

His size helps him draw penalties too IMO...easily knocked down and lets the ref's know it.

i do honestly believe he has 60P in him... i have long said i see him as a ribeiro type when it comes to production... a couple huge years with an average ranging between 45-60P

2C.. i agree with you

I would agree.

What I can't stand is Leafs Nation fellating this guy, stating that he's the best player on the team.

Interesting thought someone just said to me.

"Do you think Maloney was fired because he opposed selling the farm in order to trade for Matthews assuming they don't win the lottery?"

- markmark

poor results and was hired by previous owners.

my guess is the owners want to bring their own guy in.

It's pretty simple - Leafs Nation hates our most talented players. Always have, always will.

Phaneuf was the problem.

Kessel was the problem.

Sundin was soft and heartless.

The Muskoka Five ruined us.

Larry Murphy was terrible.

All a bunch of overpaid, selfish, pampered bums.

Yet we consistently worship our 4th line players, because somehow we feel that we can relate to guys making $2-3 million a year playing 14 minutes a night. They are like us.

Yeah Domi!

Komarov is awesome!

Wade Belak is the heart and soul of this team!

Motor City Smitty!

It's the insanity that unites us all.

in this entire post you failed to make even a single point

quit blowing hot air and say something tangible

This is how you justify your BS on here?
Whatever, I am back to not conversing with you - it's pointless and you really don't add much IMO.

as a #1 dman maybe but that's not his fault, that's on the team for having no depth. he was great in detroit playing in a role that made sense.

3rd in points.

And P.A only has 3 less points than Kadri

Why no love for him.

He was a bargain!

That's the thing. As great as his offensive instincts were, he wasn't very versatile and was really slow. He just didn't fit our team at the time, couldn't find comfort anywhere in our pairings. So essentially, he was terrible. He'd get eaten alive in today's NHL.

Hard to blame them when the coach says it constantly.

He's a great pickup...no showboating / no attitude / not a me first guy - easily likable. It's human nature to female dog about the most talented players especially when they aren't producing for the money they make ie. Phaneuf / Kessel ( even though i loved parts of his game )

I never heard too much female dog about Sundin...other than he should have waived his NTC the mother(frank)er.

Yeah, so glad we ditched him. His career was clearly on the decline.

I mean, what the hell did the guy even do after the Leafs jettisoned him?

Other than win 2 more Stanley Cups and get elected to the HHOF, of course...

Wedgie confession: I was one of the d-bag Leafs fans who ran him out of town. My brother and I used to sit in the seats at the Gardens, and whenever he would touch the puck, we would scream "Larry Alert! Larry Alert!" It caught on with our section - lasted for months.

I really feel shame over that one.

That would be ok by me too, be nice to squeeze him at $5m....if he really wants to be here...he'd take it, I think he could live on $30m over 6 years

PP specialist on a great team...he was just too damn slow to play on a thin team.
