But it's not just one player, we're taking possibly 3 new centers(Stammer, Matthews, Nylander), and maybe a Bernier rebound with Reimer gone, and maybe another highly skilled guy like Marner. It'd be a damned young team, and a pretty thin d-corps... But it could easily be a lot better than it was this year, given the skill level of a lot of the guys involved.

Or Matthews will tell the Leafs not to draft him (see Simpson, Craig).

The Avs have multiple top forwards and a legit #1 goalie. There's no reason for them to still be this bad. Roy has to be one of the worst coaches in the NHL right now. Ron Wilson levels of bad.
