well when you are canned in a single year by 2 back to back teams, that doesnt look good.

we are best off w systems guys. Every coach who has a cup the last 10 years has been 1. So best we get 1 right?!

First one, everyone else is in good position, except he makes some airhead decision to leave his man and the Sharks score. Second image, he has the puck, fails to move it quickly, then gets on the wrong side of his man and gets beat to the net. Thats basic hockey, there are coaches in peewee that have already told him not to play like he just did. I'm sorry but until the team gets smarter and better quality players, no coaching change or structure will make a difference
- WhiteLie

then clearly you dont understand defensive systems. They will tell you where to be and what to do....eliminated guesswork and decisions. So yes, system structure WILL change that.
You cant make statements like that when you dont understand systems and coaching roles. Look more into it, there's so much cool stuff to learn.
You'll see the game differently then and it'll be more apparent how some teams make adjustments to their system and win.

I dont care about bart either way though. Im sure theres stuff hes done that I havent seen, so Im sure youre right on some of the errors.

in the last three weeks i have had a reoccurring dream that we got the first pick, very vivid and goes against all that my Canuck fandom tells me.

now i ask you guys , does Marc Crawford get hired that same day or do they wait and give it a little time?

I think you need to awaken from that dream, and there's only one way to do this properly, so pay close attention and do exactly as i say...raise your right arm, palm out not clenched and stretch it as far as you can to the side, now in a quick and violent motion strike yourself across your right side of your face...it may hurt a little, but should cure you of your Crawford admiration...

I just tried that! It totally works!!!

Seriously man, you think you know everything? You just made a comment suggesting the "trap" was outlawed.

Systems in hockey are the same EVERYWHERE. The difference between a good coach and a bad coach is that the good coaches figure out the learning disability of the worst players and effectively communicate to them where to be, or move the puck in a particular situation. The system breaks down when players make bonehead players (frank) it up, which is more than half the Canucks defense. You're not in the room to say there is no system, I am willing to bet they talk in video over this and guys just cant see it when they are on the ice

I dont come on here to brag about my hockey knowledge, I come here to talk Canucks, but when you try to tell me I dont know systems I will laugh at you. My coach in Juniors was the D coach for the memorial cup champion Giants, so go ahead and tell me I have no idea what I am talking about. Get off your high horse

He may be beating a dead horse but it doesn't mean Willie isn't $hit. I personally haven't seen any defensive structure, nor have seen any urgency on the power play or 5 on 5. Questionable line combos. No fire or emotion on the bench. We have the least amount of shots in the league. Our GAA is absolutely horrendous. You can't put most of these on the players. He sucks. He and his whole staff will be gone by mid November.

I posted last blog that I dont think Willie survives 2016, but honestly what is wrong with the "structure" here:

Winger on the wall, center supporting, weakside winger sagging into the slot and one defenseman covering the front of the net. Where did it go wrong? The one defensemen that got poor positioning on his man. A structure fails when someone gets beat, after that its chaos. No coaching can fix that

I just found out the secret to a happy wife is Michael Kors and plenty of toilet paper.

@Makita.

Training camp will be a breeze this year, it's in here that is going to be the gong show.

"You can't put most of these on the players"

I can and I most certainly will. I'm not a fan of Willie but the team sucks due to injuries and a weak lineup. Babcock wouldn't have got them into the playoffs

I had to google Kors, thought you misspelled Coors at first...not sure if I want to know the toilet paper comment.

It's been interesting in here for a bit, I'm expecting it to tone down over the next few months with exception to draft ping pong ball day, then draft day then leading up to training camp.

Married to a Filipina . The B1tch be crazy . Simplicity and Brand Names keep them happy.

Yeah I think this is going to be a stupid summer , and my intentions are the same.

I don't want to watch Sportsnet with no Canadian hockey teams in the PO. I won't give them my viewership number. I have no interest in the Toronto Cup in September.

I am hoping draft day , lottery day , and July first are the big three on my calendar, right into training camp.

Same logic applies to coaches. They wouldn't be coaching at this level if they hadn't shown coaching ability. I think you bring up good points, but I also look at the little clip Whitelie through up and think "ya, in what world is there clearly not a system there." as it seems that it is very systemic.
