no girgens?

he's one of my favorite players, but he's not in their league...that said, it may take him a while, but he has always adapted and thrived in situations where he once struggled...

look no further than his year in the ahl when he scored only six goals in 61 games but punched in three in three games during the playoffs...he also struggled the first half of his rookie season in buffalo before locking it in...he followed an eight-goal season with 15...

this year he had a whole new system to learn...it took him a while, but he's playing some of his best hockey of the season...

based upon history, he's worth a look for at least one more season

serious question

when the bolts season ends, do you give them a 3RD rd pick and a conditional 2nd if stamkos signs with the sabres for his rights?

- homiedclown

Why not ? Specially if TM has some knowledge that Stammer is interested

no need, dont you worry you will trade for Duchene...probably for Bogo since Roy wants to see me melt down and crush my hockey soul
- DDM-Coga

just read (red, wred) about that...Duchene would be a nice consolation prize...that said, I think losing o'reilly, coupled with the loss of stastny the previous season didn't help the situation

Not sure if you guys saw this last night:

Larkin on their vote for who should get the Calder, Jack was not. Ok

- Zschalberg

It would not shock me to see Eichel not on the final ballot.

McDavid has the hype and is playing at a point per game space.

Panarin, Larkin, and Gostisbehere have all had better contributions to the win column throughout the year.

It may not be fair, but I think you will see Eichel shut out.

Losing Stastny hurt more than ROR to be honest. But whatever cant dwell on it now.
ROR was out the door no matter what. But 4.5m in Soderberg and 5.3m in Iginla...could have just paid 7m to stastny and find another 3m winger instead.

I dont think Duchene is going to be traded, but Roy has lost his damn mind. He is going to set this franchise back a decade if he gets his way

Jonathan Drouin has been called up by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Drouin has had a strained season with the Lightning as he publicly demanded to be traded and was temporarily suspended for refusing to play in the AHL. His suspension was later lifted and he resumed playing in the minors and while Lightning GM Steve Yzerman expressed a willingness to fulfill his trade request, nothing was worked out before the deadline. This is a key opportunity for Drouin to show what he's capable of and perhaps boost his trade value ahead of the summer. At the same time, he might help fill the massive void left by Steven Stamkos' absence, although no one is expecting him to do that alone.

Broncos inquired about him last year, not this year. Offered him more $$ than the Bills. He chose BUF due to the better starting opp.

I'm not saying one bit that Jack should win. It should go Panarin, McDavid, Ghost. But I'll dispute the fact that Larkin has done more than Jack. Higher in goals, assists, and points all while not being afforded the luxury of Zetterberg. I'd even have Domi ahead of Larkin.

All of this to say I have nothing against Larkin.

Correct, and now they asked about a trade for him this year as well. Kubiak was his OC they wanted him, and still want him.

You speak of the Stastny with 8 or 9 goals for STL? Looks like his signing in STL hurt both teams??
