Just win the next two and we are in! It's okay since we haven't said that yet this season...especially two days ago

So i know it's a longshot but if the flyers win their final 2 games are they in or would they need help?
- Yosimar89

Win 2 in no matter what. If Detroit loses to Rags in regulation, they would only need 2 points.

Just have to beat the Pens and the Islanders in back to back days.

They were exhausted at the start of yesterday's game so I expect them to play a solid 30 minutes total in both games this weekend combined. That's being generous.. i know...

They're in. Magic number is 4

Ahah. Whatever. You think the rangers are gonna beat the Bruins? I think we're in trouble.

With the way they're playing i don't actually have high hopes they can win either of those games even if Pitt and NYI have nothing to play for.

This team clawed back tonight in the final 10 to salvage their hopes.

Can't put anything past them. I believe.

Fine with OT goal...but the call is f in brutal....OT....steps on puck or stick....and to make that call is embarrassing ....and NHL wonders why they can't get new fans for the sport south of the border.

Who took the penalty in OT that lead to winning goal?

I have zero confidence they can beat the Pens.

I could see them beating the Isles, though.

Yeah. A point against the worst team in the NHL, who is icing a minor league lineup is enormous.

What til they get their hands on the Penguins Saturday.

- PLindbergh31

The Pens have nothing more to gain after today. I would pick them to go all the way out of the East easy. Hopefully they rest Crosby, Letang and Kessel?

Flyers have always played up for the better teams so I'd never rule them out.

That said, it ain't gonna be easy by any means. I have a better feeling this Saturday than I do on Sunday.

I actually have higher hopes of OTT beating the B's than i do Rags beating Detroit, Rangers probably wanna tank so they don't have to face the buzzsaw that is Pitt.

Who scored the crucial 2nd goal to get us back into it?

TBH that shouldn't have been a penalty the dude stepped on his damn stick.

Leafs fans take showers? The only reports I ever heard of anyone connected to the leafs taking showers were Wendell Clark and Glenn Anderson when they dated in the 90s

I'm hoping they rest MAF and Malkin.
