First time I saw Markov was when he first came over from Russia and played a year for the Leafs AHL team. The resemblance I was referring to was that he was obviously in the wrong league, was far and away the best player for both teams, and that and he has the same fearlessness Markov did.
He is obviously more talented, but it's the other things about his game that you'll love. - oldstyle
Not that I want to set unrealistic expectations but whenever I've watched him I've seen a lot of similarities to Drew Doughty.
