This ceremony can't seem to tell the difference between a superstar player and an unknown so I guess it was organized by the Oilers' scouts.

We all know this. I just like to call them out. You know they're still lurking too. But they stay quiet when they see us play like this cause they know this is just a glimpse of our future. - Ihatebrianburke
It's a tad too late for me, so we can pick this up tomorrow, but beating Vancouver is a glimpse of your future? Feck, even the Laffs swept the Nucks this year. |

McDavid is at 48 points. The next rookie leader in points is at 52, then 54, and then there is panarin at 74.
With two games left, if McDavid can somehow come in second in scoring, he has got to be a definite contender for the Calder (Other than for obvious reasons...). He has been the most efficient (1.09 ppg so far this season) out of this year's rookie race by any other rookie in a landslide and he has accounted for nearly half the Oiler goals once he has come back in one way or another.
Other than that, Maroon is definitely looking more and more like the filling Chia will use if Eberle is going to be traded anytime this summer... As for Yak, on the fence with him. He plays great somes games, then he just plays like a headless maniac the next few. |

Well, the way this ceremony is going, at least Edmonton fans will finally get another chance to watch the Oilers in May.

All the young guns scoring today is our future, especially Connor. Not if, but when Chiarelli gets us some D, look the (frank) out. |

McDavid would still have to beat out Gostisbehere if Panarinin doesn't win it and I really don't see that happening. |

I'dd include add some depth on the forward ranks too (You need to have good lower line guys also as McDavid/Hall etc can't be out there all the time).
Still, if we can fast forward five years to a Leafs/Oilers final I'd be (frank)ing ecstatic |

No-one can dispute what Panarin has done, but the 6 season of pro hockey beforehand definitely should factor in.
My ballot would be:
McDavid ((frank) the amount of games played, he's by far the best)
Ghost Bear
Panarin |

Same here and I think Gostisbehere deserves it the most, although Connor is the best, the games played will hurt him. |
