Even then I wouldn't pay him what he'd get on the open market. I'd kindly thank him for his loyalty and service and wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. You don't reward a guy for a good playoff run or else you end up with Brian Bickell.

The worst part in all of this is that when Okposo wants to he can get into a different gear. We just only see it in spurts. Makes sense now as hes entering free agency and you only remember how you finish.

I think KO should have been mentioned instead of Nelson in Cappy's tirade. KO is a long time Islander and it's not right to think it was just the young kids letting the team down. KO has only recently picked up his play.

He played with a purpose last night. It was desperation......finally rearing its head. Most of the guys were on board. Bailey was not......shocker.

Bailey is totally useless should not be in the NHL at all. AHL maybe but not NHL. Been saying that for years

Whats astounding is how he continues to make the lineup. I can see guys going on scoring droughts, but phuck me if you're not scoring, you better change your game and start playing physical. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing a guy purposefully not throwing the body. With 3 games left in the season to be holding someone instead of running them into the boards is not only inexcusable, its a testament to his character (or lack thereof).

Bailey needs to seriously think if he wants to continue playing hockey. He does not seem to have the passion for it at all.

He's got raw talent, but his hockey IQ is garbage.

I get it. To be honest, that trade seems really unfair to you guys.

Yah I may have been a bit generous. Big fan of Brock though. Him on McDavids wing...

And thats the worst part......its a gift to be able to play in the NHL. If you dont wanna give the effort for your fans, then do it for your parents who took your a$$ to practice at the a$$ crack of dawn growing up. Show some respect...

He is a pretty damn good player. He has just lacked consistency so far in his young career.

For example, he has 26 goals this year. 20 of them came in the first 48 games.

Bailey is old enough, but maybe his dad should talk to him instead of doing turkey calls? Then again maybe his dad is not the right person.

It met needs. You need an elite winger for JT. We need high end D and big LW to fill in for Hall. The 1rst swap leveled out the fact you were giving up 2 good players for 1.

Needs to be dragged behind a chemical shed and dealt with. I'll bring Yak and we can make it an Oil/Isles bonding experience.

Sounds like a great idea. Is Yak as bad as Bailey though?

I was going to post a video of a guy that takes a turkey's head clean off with a bow...but I imagine that'd get me banned.

I got called a troll when on your board yesterday when I offered Hamonic, Strome (who on a side note looked good last night), and a 1st for Hall

Impossible not to play harder than Bailey. Yak may still turn things around though. Bailey has no hope.
