Just noticed your location. When did batman say that?

A while back. Something to do with heavy chicks and delicate anatomy parts I think.

Haven't seen him in a long time. Stayed away from the Oilers thread after the big purge and then you couldn't even say boo on there without getting banned.

Yah it got pretty ugly in there for awhile. Even the regulars are getting the ban hammer for mentioning the names of perma-banned posters.

It was like the underground HB after 10 on that thread. Never see the likes of that again.

For reasons even I don't totally comprehend, I dropped $100 on you guys to win the cup. So no pressure or anything, but please don't (frank) this up.

Sincerely,
A disgruntled Oiler fan

Hah When did you lay the bet? If it was at the beginning of the season you had to get like 50-1

Once you guys clinched I dropped the coin. Its a personal bet between a bunch of guys. They laughed their asses off when I chose the Isles.

Hamonic, Nelson and your 1rst for Hall and our 1rst. But I doubt other Oil fans would agree.

That....well. Ok, that's pretty fair.

Oh dude you got crappy odds. Those bets should be made at the beginning of the season. I'd rather lay $100 at 50-1 then 100 now at 9-1.

Nah man, we all just pick a team and toss the cash in a pot. Nothing complicated.

Nope.

Not to be antagonistic...but I'm not exactly projecting the Oilers to be great next year (after that hypothetical trade, or otherwise)...so that seems like it carries the inherent risk of your 1st being a top-10 pick.

I applaud your optimism, but you cant go by last nights win. The Tavares pass in OT was just not human. Few guys in the league make that play. Good on Hickey too for going top chez.......most guys on the isles rip it low or right at the goalie crest.

If Okposo keeps playing like he did last night, be prepared for the isles to over pay to keep him. Truth be told he plays his best with JT.

I don't think they'll be great either. (frank) at this point I'll settle for .500 and competent.
As far as the pick goes, I'd just as soon not see another 1rst overall. Not that it wouldn't help, I'm just sick of all the negative attention that comes with it.

KO has picked up his play. Someone must have reminded him he was going to be an FA.

I hope he signs with the Wild who have exactly zero talented centers. They'll be regretting it for the duration of the contract.

I dont understand how the isles can be 30-1 when there are only 16 teams in the post season. Then again i dont understand how cruise ships float, and how subways carry 1000s of people and stop on a dime.

I'm still not overpaying KO unless he somehow carries the Isles to the Cup.

Dont be so quick to give up the first overall........Chiarella isn't Kevin Lowe, or McTavish. He's built a winner before. The Oilers were just mismanaged for too long. The ship is on course now. Gotta be patient. Hahahaha an isles fan is telling another teams fan to be patient. Oh the irony....

We are not going to sign KO. We will sign Neilsen and MArtin. Make a trade out of now where that we will all be wowed with and then make one key free agent signing

Even then I wouldn't pay him what he'd get on the open market. I'd kindly thank him for his loyalty and service and wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. You don't reward a guy for a good playoff run or else you end up with Brian Bickell.
