This game is all but over not seeing any urgency out there.

Put one in during the next 3-5 mins and it's a new game.

Mason is gonna be exhausted the last 3 games. These guys had 3 days off and look like they just played 4 in 5.

Coach throwing wild lines out now. Desperation starting to really show a bit. Flyers are getting NJ Devil'd by the Red Wings. Flyers don't look dangerous or even above satisfactory in any aspect of the game save Mason.

I'm not going to let this game bring me down. The fact that they are playing a meaningful game on April 6th is way more than I expected going into the season. They've been on a helluva roll while playing a brutal schedule and all of it without any top pair Dmen or really any true shutdown Dmen.

They have good goaltending, a great group of D prospects and their cap situation is much better than it was a year ago. They are on an upswing and whether they make the playoffs or not, I'm proud of their effort down the stretch.

I'm satisfied with their progress considering Hakstol had the same roster to work with that Berube had. I really want to see another kid or two next year. I want to see more changeover on the roster.

Honestly, I think their lack of depth along with physical and mental exhaustion has just finally got to them.
