Best part of the game so far, listening to Penguin announcers. They sound like they are letting local high school A/V clubs announce their games.

Seriously Joe I don't get you. does this team need to continue to upgrade? absolutely. but that doesn't happen overnight. esp considering the bad contracts that Hextall inherited. Unloading Pronger's contract and Vinny is a great start. Hextall has hired a good coach, made some good moves to unload some of the mess and looks as tho is drafting well (time will tell for sure of course). they are in a playoff race which was not expected. they have talent on the way.

He's usually right in front for the goals. Flyers just need to shoot on Murray, but the Pens are obviously doing a good job keeping everything to the outside and blocking/preventing shots.

yeah. the team defense has been pretty good lately. just moreso because everything and everyone is so fast right now that things just get out quickly. still, murray is damn good. won't fault him too much for that. that was a perfectly placed laser.

yeah, simmonds makes his money in the crease. 30 goals. nothing to sneeze at given the current state of the league.

in the beginning i thought he was pretty rough. but he's basically been exactly as advertised. his numbers might be a little down because he's getting supplanted by ghost for a lot of the PPs and rolls like that.

i honestly thought you guys were going to pawn him off last year when hexy was moving coburn and kimmo. probably could have gotten a nice return.

He in herited bad contracts but signed his own. He's being stubborn to a fault with younger players. If the injuries didn't happen and Medvedev had better impact we never would've seen ghost this year.
