absolutely. i am sure he is getting the best treatment available as well... its just something i would be cautious of.

honest question... does a UFA have to divulge medical issues prior to signing? do the leafs get to check him out first?

Again, back away from the drugs.
I simply see kadri for what he is. I like him and no hate.

Not sure Bruce, I would imagine for the money, you'd want a medical clearance by your own staff.

Talk of HGH and blood doping being the cause of the blood clots becoming more common place.

i actually disagree with kadri HAVING to be top 6... the idea of a soshnikov kadri komarov agitator 3rd line really appeals to me... get under the other teams skin and still produce decent point totals
- Dozzer

I think he'd be an excellent 3C as well, but the turning point will be his cap hit. If he's getting $5 million or more per on his new contract, that's too much of an expenditure for the 3C position. That's what will eventually make him expendable.

Possibly, but his DZ FO% needs to improve greatly for him to be effective, unless we have a 1/2 line that can match-up/shutdown opposition.

Possession numbers are good though for that line, so yeah, that could be interesting.

I don't hate Bozak between those two either, but Kadri gets the nod for agitator for sure.

I'm genuinely excited for this team in the future: still a long way to go, but I don't look around and see a lot of dead weight anymore; even guys like Laich, Michalek and Greening will be useful vets next year, taking tough minutes from the kids.

I would imagine they have the right to ask for a player's medical condition before signing him.

I can't see him getting much more than Bozak. Maybe 4.5M on a 2-year deal.

nice part about him still being RFA is the leafs can go through the draft and July 1 before deciding what role they see him in moving forward. if the leafs decide to keep him i could see maintaining where he is at cap hit wise for two years.

that gives the leafs a couple more years to evaluate him, allows him to get into his prime.. and if they dont intend on resigning him into his UFA years they can trade him at the deadline in the final year of his contract for futures

yeah i like having the vets around... they are great to have for a mentoring role

my guess is they wont decide on what they want to do with kadri until after the draft and FA. they dont have to sign him by july 1... so i imagine they will use that window to see where they end up roster wise before deciding on his value to the team

I'm not sure there are any. Team asks, player either obliges or refuses, team signs or walks away. Different if it's a trade.

I would so do that! Solidifies our top 4 immediately. Great mentor for the Marincins and Corrados on the back end!

EDIT: Wouldn't that be the 3rd time they've been traded for each other?
