Shanny likely signed the cheque anyway.

I can't come up with any other solution for Edmonton than to trade all of Eberle, RNH, Yak and Hall.

You'll get some good piece for those guys. You will have another year older Klefblom and Nurse. You'll probably get Matthews this year or Tkachuk at the worst.

Start all over again with several really good pieces and get rid of the entire young core that underperformed so spectacularly.

he (kadri) might actually hit 50P this year even with that horrid start....

if he was producing at the beginning of the season he'd be over 60P easy

its a mistake to move him at this point... no long term deals yet though either

also, i wouldnt be surprised to see him hit 50P at the pace he has been going at as of late

If the leafs draft a high end center and/or get stammer, trade his diving @ss for a dman

My guess is Marner plays another year of Junior, but I still think one of Kadri or Bozak will need to move if we sign Stamkos or draft Matthews.

Bozak's on reasonable contract for 2 more years and has the skillset to play up and down the top 9. Kadri needs to play top 6 to be effective, so that could mean that Kadri's out if they can't find a taker for Bozak.

Still have Holland in the mix for 3C too.

Long shots are Gauthier and Froese for 3/4C.

you hate kadri with a passion so its hard to take your opinion as unbiased

he's 25... just getting into his prime years now... typical impatience of leaf fans... trade him just as he is hitting his prime... then cry about it when he produces for another team

and stammer? the guy who has been shut down to remove a blood clot? i'd be leery of him now.... things like that can become re-occuring

i actually disagree with kadri HAVING to be top 6... the idea of a soshnikov kadri komarov agitator 3rd line really appeals to me... get under the other teams skin and still produce decent point totals

it still worries me to tell you the truth... what happens if you sign the guy for 7 years and it turns out that the blood clot is actually the onset of a condition that becomes repetitive. there is no guarantee that it will, but there is no guarantee that it wont either.

I have no hate for him, i like him. I just dont stroke him like some of you do.
I recognize him for what he is. A decent second line center who draws penalties and dives.
