I would not pay 11 million for him . Lots of players with blood clots have not returned to previous form or even recovered in expected time period.

Cody McCormick agrees.

They say he'll be 100% but youre right there are a lot of athletes who never fully make it back from them.

When talking about Evander Kane
"Injuries are apart of the game"
"His style of play, I expect him to miss time"

When talking about Steven Stamkos

"He's never been the same since his leg injury"
"He might never be the same after this blood clot"
"Now I'm scared of potential injuries"

Kane = 5.25 x 2

Stamkos = 11 x 7

Don't be silly.

EDIT: I'm not a doctor, but part of my business is financial responsibility.

That should be part of anyone's business after the age of 16 or so.

And who's talking about contracts a lot all the sudden? You wanna post some cosri #'s while you're at it, nerd.

Here's nerd for you:

As bad as Matt Moulsons production has been, as many questions as there are around Bogo, Gionta, Foligno, Ennis, or Girgs, yknow who has made no impact of any kind whatsoever?

Cody McCormick. The clot guy.

Both players have injury concerns, but Stamkos with broken leg and a blood clot are more serious injuries, Kane usually gets dinged up with more minor injuries. I would say Kane seems to be more injury prone, where Stamkos seems to have bad luck.

You can add Pascal Dupuis, Kimmo Timmonen, and other to that list.

Younger players have had better success recovering from clots though. Fleischmann had them, and was fine

The Sabres need to exercise caution here . I want a team of the best blood clot specialists in the world checking him out before we sign a 7 year 80 million dollar contract with him . If he does not fully recovery could take the franchise a long time to recover . This is not a place to be care free with Mr Pegula's money.

Yeah, it could. Really unfortunate for Tampa though if he does leave, after not getting any assets for him and then not having him for the playoffs anyways. But I guess that's the risk they took.

I just watched the latest episode of Buffalo Blue and Gold. Kane seems like he's a decent guy, but I still think he has some growing to do.

Just send him to veins-veins-veins.com. He could be their next spokesman! Maybe replace those brutal commercials with Roby going on about yancey's fancy cheese or him not being able to get around so much after the the chug chug vroom vroom crash crash. Lol. Just one more financial opportunity for stamkos in the Queen City!
