Weeds out the outrageous lies about non follow up though.

"I asked him to fix this issue three weeks ago."

"BS. You asked him Tuesday. It's Wednesday morning."

- mayorofangrytown

No doubt I get why it's done. And working at a large place it is imperative there is some sort of record of assistance. But I wouldn't refuse to help, especially during a go-live. I'd much rather fix the issue, then fill out the ticket myself.

2 points ahead with a game in hand and 6 games left doesn't feel like 88% to me.

That's how I wish it was. I hated jumping through hoops to assist someone just because it was the way things were done. I worked with an analyst who would refuse phone calls because the person hadn't open a ticket. Not the right thing to do in my opinion.
- TobyFlenderson

I manage a team of people and if they did that, I'd be pissed.

I ask them to fill the ticket out on the person's behalf if they need to.

I agree. Don't know where they get that. Does it factor in strength of schedule or something?

I run a department where we're constantly fighting the lying sales people over time lines. I never agree to do anything without a written request unless I know the guy isn't going to throw me or my people under the bus.

Matt Martin is UFA after the season. His cap hit is 1M. I'd be totally into going after him for something like 2.25-2.5M 1 year deal. He'd be an instant fan favorite.

Poor Reece Willcox getting poop for his nerdy picture on page 10. Now he's 6'4", 208 pounds with a Cornell degree and an ELC.

Fair enough. But he's still a hydrocephalic.

But he's OUR hydrocephalic

with 2 games against the Pens its not a done deal to me at all. I still have knots in my stomach. I'll feel confident if they come out of the game against Detroit with at least a 4 point lead.

I definitely understand that. Having written requests is better than having a war of words. Like you said it weeds out all the BS.

I'm with you. It's 2016. They have 6 games left and need 8 pts. I fear a collapse.

I so wish I didn't feel this way.

I like him.

I believe he also kills penalties for them. But not sure I want to get into the 2-2.50 range on a guy like him. White is costing 800k I believe. If we moved on from white would rather fill from our prospects. Goulborne can kill penalties and provide same type of skills White does.

I wonder if Kassian gets a qualifying offer. I would have interest in him since he is still pretty young and can move up and down lineup. PLus I think he is a little more skilled then white and martin.

I don't.

This team has a different feel about them. Not sure why but I am confident they get this done.
