Man that was something! I woke the dog and the missus after that win, the pooch was cool with it, the wife not so much.

Thanks Bill. An SO win, NICE! We need more of those. Hats off to Mase, once again. Towards the end of the game, it was becoming really chippy. I think that the Flyers were starting to get tired of the dirty play, and stepped up their own version edgy of play. It will be interesting to see how the Flyers play against: the Sens, the Leafs, the Wed Wings, and the Fishermen. These are winnable games, but which Flyers team shows up is the question. Moving on....to the playoffs?

I am impressed with this team. First the coach has given this team an identity. Second they never seem to fold even when behind or when things aren't going to plan.

Very impressed and nice to see. Makes me really have hope for the upcoming years.

Why was Streit on that power play over Ghost? I didnt get to watch the most important part of the game

So any thoughts on Chimera getting a call from the league office. Considering landing a butt end is an automatic major and game misconduct? I know Ghost slashed him earlier but that is still no excuse for that sleazy play.

Great win for the team last night. Now up to a 88% chance.

Looks like last night will be the first round matchup. Buckle your safety belts folks it'll be a bumpy ride.

Was checking building availability for the series and it looks like both building are open most of the first week except for a Soul game on Sunday at 4 which probably would get slid either to 1 or a 8 if they wanted that day.

Great game. Last years flyers would have folded after that Ovi goal. Great display of resilience. What really really bothered me about the game is that I have friends through college who are caps fans and I still talk with them on social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Their talking went from : Caps are going to win flyers sucks , to oh enjoy the gimme game caps weren't even trying since we won best record.

Yeah right they weren't trying...

Maybe their penalty kill gave up on the Flyers goal but other than that we got their full game. Those two shootout attempts by the Caps were legit dangerous and Mase's save on Kuzy was maybe the save of the year from him.

I know it really bothered me. One guy was pulling the " I think I would know I watch the caps every night and they weren't trying." Please, that game had playoff feels and environment throughout the whole game. It was chippy, a mans game, and tight start to finish. On top of that, every single analyst all day was saying how the caps must continue to keep the foot on the gas so they don't sit back while waiting for playoffs.

And even further, no chance a caps team sits back on a hungry flyers team who they most likely will face series 1

They were out together. Streit snuck on for Voracek as the penalty was winding down.

I loved the quotes post game from Trotz and Holtby that the Coots penalty for goalie interference wasn't going to be called until Holtby retaliated and that the refs wanted to get out of Philly alive...

Flyers!

I can't believe they are going to make the playoffs. They are, right?

Is Hakstol getting any consideration for COTY?

The one thing I question is that Couturier made the same effort that Beagle made when he hit Mason and there was no call.

Both guys were going to the net. Also Couturier did have a little help from the Caps defenseman

Trotz, Gallant, Boudreau, Sutter, Hitchcock, Ruff all before Hakstol as much as it pains me.
