Hey buddy, do you know what imatinib is? Cisplatin? How does motrin work? Should you take it with a PPI? Do you know what a PPI is?

I'll bet you'd be the kind of person who expects rhinocort to help with asthma because it's a spray.

(frank) off. Why are you even here, anyway? No one (frank)ing likes you.

I don't really think that Med School should be graded on a curve. If it's preparing you for the real world, the grieving parents don't want to hear, "Hey, it was 70% right, that's not bad."

Crazy to think last year Klingberg had a very similar stat season as Ghost is having and didn't even get a nomination. But I think Ghost has attracted more attention. Last year was actually really strong too I'd say. Gaudreau was essentially Panarin. Forsberg couldn't even get nominated.

I just had a thought about last year...rather have Ekblad or Klingberg? Ekblad definitely has the bigger hype, but I don't think he's any better than Klingberg. Heck I may take the latter. But they're pretty neck and neck.

- Mononoke

On the Flyers right now, Ekblad all day. Ekblad has the franchise defenseman aura of him, Klingberg is more of an offensive dynamo. Not that Klingberg is bad defensively, I just think Ekblad has much higher ceiling overall.

Plus that beard...can't wait for the Nashville/Florida SCF pitting Weber's beard vs. Ekblad's.

but you can't compare testing to real life, especially in medicine

in real life if you aren't sure about a drug or treatment you can get help, ask an expert, go online, lots of resources to make the right decision

testing you can't do that, unless it's open book test

So rude... And I havn't really been rude to you. Its very hard for a Dman to win MVP or Rookie MVP. Thats nothing against Ghost, its a simple fact.
- Guile

Yes, I merely pointed out the most recent Dman to do it. He also wasn't the top rookie point getter. He was also just 19 years old. So perhaps is isn't just a beauty/points contest anymore.

If it's not a beauty contest, then Sanheim has a good shot. Have they taken out the swimsuit portion, as well?

Well, this was Rowan University, who's engineering class of 2005 was 20-25 kids per discipline. I had class with the same 25 kids for 4 years, and there was only one offering.

The guy who failed everyone was all circuit theory, which is a death sentences for mechanicals, we like things we can see. The second guy was practical, and it made so much more sense.

My daughter hated her circuit theory class.

he really isnt as "offensive dynamo" as he is made out to be though. I do agree that I would pick ekblad, but Klingberg is much better all around than people seem to give him credit for. that deal they signed him to is one sexy mf

I gave up getting my bachelors in Computer Science from Rutgers in Camden due to a professor and I having a argument during my paid lab time. I was asking a question about the circuit board we were to build and he told me he was too busy doing his grant research. I walked back to my station and proceeded to add the final parts as I was thinking they should go but wasn't 100% I had everything right and then added the power to the board. BOOM... SMOKE... Professor walks over and says now I have to pay for those parts out of my budget with a snarky attitude. I said something like "If you would have answered my question it wouldn't have happened" and walked out for the night. Good thing I already had a job in the computer field.

Yeah. It was just lines with a bunch of resistors, capacitors, diodes running every which way. They didn't actually do anything except change your voltage/current at different nodes. The second guy gave us diagrams that actually did something, and it made so much more sense.

I would have talked to the department chair about that.

And honestly, we have guys here with EE degrees and electrical technicians with 20+ years of experience, and every now and then you get that sweet, sweet burning smell.

Hes already made it into med school... hes gonna be fine no matter the result of one test. I don't like to throw sympathy out for people who are already in such a good place to be and forget that because of one setback.

But I'm a bit cynical in these situations.
