Being bitter isn't laying ground work for a lawsuit. Plus he will have no case if a player goes to unrestricted free agency. They don't own the player. Just his rights. Which will have expired if and when he signs with another team. He's well within his rights and Poile is well within his rights to do nothing but take it.
