anyone know who was a regular call-up and who was an emergency call-up? I think they only have 1 regular call-up left at their disposal meaning they can only potentially send 1 of Nylander/Hyman/Shoshnikov back to Marlies and replace them with the likes of Acrobello/Clune.
I think guys like Brown and Valiev are emergency call-ups, so they can only be sent back if players come back from injury. and they currently have 2 Marlies sidelined with injuries as it is.
of course Uncle Lou just does whatever he wants, so... |

Reading the Hawks fans discussing Keith's hit/attempted murder last night is funny. |

I like how they make excuses for him... and then say "I know it is no excuse".
Hawks fans are even worse than Canucks fans on this site.

Odds are much better if they're last than anywhere else. They purposely pissed away a whole season and can't even do that properly. They're in a pretty good spot going forward regardless of where they pick this year but there was no reason to burn entry level years and there's no reason not to be giving themselves the best shot at Mathews. - hockey123
Winning games is an unfortunate byproduct of playing well. Playing well is an unfortunate byproduct of having good players who are well coached. These happen to be players who will be with the team for a long time.
This season has not been "pissed away". The goals were to use UFAs to acquire picks and to develop the kids. Tanking just to get a 20% shot at first pick was never the goal. |

Because they need a top 4 pick
Not difficult - Fakepartofme
And will have very good odds to get one. Not too difficult. Or whine pout sniff worthty. I also don't see how they need a 4 overall more than 5 overall. Difference wont be huge in the player you get. |

Getting a useful player like Bozak without using a draft pick isn't a bad thing. The drama is just media bullpoop. |

Can't say I am overly excited about an over-age guy who wasn't exactly dominating.
He may be a decent player, so it could be a good pickup, but I don't think anyone is snagging a Jack Eichel here.
