I'd have given Stoli a start by now. Can't have Mase go down in the playoffs (if we het there) and have Stoli make his first NHL start against a 100+ point team in the playoffs.

Im kinda tired of Raffl-Coots-Jake... All 3 have a hard time scoring goals.

I want to see Schenn on Coots line and move Jake back up.

I agree, except Schenn, Simmonds and Giroux are dangerous every time they step on to the ice.

Im sure Simmonds, G and Jake can be very dangerous as well. For the sake of balance we need a shooter/finisher on that 2nd line.

Mason hasnt been managed well health wise the last few years and that whole Jeff Reese situation was a joke when he basically helped him re-establish Mason as a solid NHL goaltender.

They havent treated Mason well at all imo. Thats for another day though. Teams will do what they do. Try and make the playoffs at all cost.

Yeah, though until this year, they haven't had many other options

So ride the best goaltender you've had in years, into the ground.

Fire the goalie coach who re-ignited his career.

Whatever I guess, win the game.

If Mase insists that he is good to go I don't think there is much they can do. All good points though.

Jake has zero jump so I suspect you are correct. Another observation.. Raffl is really turning into a decent threat in the o zone. He's using his body a lot better and driving to the net. Love it.

Seems like every time this team gets a 2 goal lead, it's cut in half in a minute or less.
- PLindbergh31

Yea...I've muttered the phrase wait for it a couple dozen times after a flyer goal this year

Speaking of health, I think a lot of teams at this time of year dont have guys going at a 100%.

Do think the Flyers are pretty banged up. Just a vibe.

Voracek is an 8 million dolllar cap hit. He shouldn't need his hand held out there. I'm not break up a pretty solid top line in a playoff race because Jake isn't playing well.

I don't necessarily agree with their mindset, just trying to see it from their perspective. I have to wonder if Hexy just expects his starting goalie to have the same warrior mentality he had as a player. In the end, none of us really knows what goes on behind the scene.

Jake is having one of his worst games in a flyers uniform tonight.

Nothing personal or anything but I hate that way of thinking. It's up to the team to hold a player out and not just go by their word.

I'll leave it at this, boys need to pick it up. Falling asleep a little.

Classic example of a star player who doesn't quite have his timing and game conditioning back and is pressing. The best thing he can do is take a deep breath and relax
