looks like we're getting frustrated

I dont see that at all. I see a team thats pretty sure they're coming back and winning this game.

I agree here. I was worried about it. We always come out sluggish after long breaks, especially MAF.

We always come out sluggish. First 10 against the Flyers they were all over us, first 10 against Caps they were clearly pushing the play. Tonight the only difference is the Devils have capitalized on their chances.

This game would be over already if MJ was still coaching.

I know you have to lose sometimes but what a let down losing to these slunks. They can't get anything going. No sustained pressure, no nothing.

Over this stretch we've been playing some great 5 on 5 hockey. But we're gonna have games when the puck won't go in during 5 on 5 and we're gonna have to get some on the PP. This is where we miss Malkin.

Too much time off just killed every ounce of momentum. That and Beau is completely useless. Time to switch it up next game and get Pouliot in there. I see Guentzel had a pretty good first game in WBS, too bad we didn't sign him to an actual contract we can use. Not that he is a cure for anything but he and Blueger are shiny new toys we have not played with yet.

It would be a waste to sign them to ELCs that start this season. We'd burn a year of their ELC on a hand full of games and the chance that they'd be ready to make an NHL impact right now negligible.

I was afraid this was going to happen. 3 day break broke their momentum.

Gotta say, 2 goals that could/should have been saved in my opinion. Don't care how fantastic he plays pucks that should be stopped should be done 100% of the time. This is exactly the type of game where Flower surrenders cheap goals & (frank)s us!

They would have to play 8 games to burn a year and we only have to play them 5 or 6. Not that it would make any difference.

The first goal was embarrassingly bad. I can't believe we are surrendering a shutout to a goalie who is playing his 2nd game in the NHL. This is just bad. It's over Gracie say goodnight.

Fleruy killed us this game. He won us a lot of games in the begining of the year but he's been third string call up bad tonight. In fact I bet out third string guy Jarry would have been much better so fifth string guy bad.
