Ruhwedel over Pysyk? Come on.... Pysyk hasn't been spectacular but he's been better in his own end than Bogosian by a country mile. Bogosians grit and recent offensive production have covered that up a bit but Pysyk will be on this team next year unless he's traded. Nelson will probably be in Rochester and depending on if Murray brings in any top 4 LHD in trades or FA Guhle will probably be in juniors again. Even though he should be able to play in the AHL (But that's another argument entirely...

Me likey Pys boy and Weedy but I too expect one of them to be traded.

Myers with chronic hip and knee problems and he had major issues in his game. GMTM is smarter than the average HB whiner, discuss.

I am convinced most people have no idea how to evaluate the play of a defenseman going back to the disrespect for Bill Hajt, Richard Schmelick, Sekera, the total overrating of Myers and total dissing of Bogo's game.

My stance on pysyk aside, Ruhwedel has been overlooked for a while now. Not saying he's some blue chip guy but when you think about the d-men they've used on the big club over the past few years...

If you put Pysk down there he'd look like he was on another level too... Not blasting Ruhwedel. He obviously could take 25's spot right now and probably out play Franson too but Pysyk has played all right in the NHL and does things that other D on this team can't do.
