Z has 0G 1A in March.

Moulson has 0G, 2A in March.

What is the code you cracked saying?

- Der Kaiser

Moulson makes 5 mil a year.. Z makes less than 900k

which one is more disappointing?

I say we send Moulson to Rochester and force him to ride the bus until he becomes agreeable to be traded to whoever is trying to get to the cap floor for next year.

Well - that's fair, but my point is neither of them is producing individually,

Z has been playing top 6 wing in March. My bet is that his +/- numbers are benefiting from production of the guys he plays with, but his 1A tells us he's benefitting without contributing.

Fasching on the 4th line with Moulson and Legwand this morning....

- JVince11

Starting out with Legwand doesn't bother me as much as including Moulson. Anyone but Moulson. He fits nowhere on this team.

It is extremely shallow to think that just because he is not showing up on the scoresheet that he is basically playing tic-tac-toe on the glass with fans.

How many times did he force a bad pass with forechecking?
How many times did he cause a turnover?
How many times did he block a shot that went into a breakout?
How many times did he tip a pass across the crease?
How many times did he battle in the corner to get the puck to teammates?
How many times did he keep the puck in the zone to keep pressure up?
How many times did he screen a goaltender?
How many times did he get a puck off a faceoff?

If you can tell me that he didn't contribute in any of those ways.. THEN you can see that he is not contributing on the ice to his teammates.

I am so sick of people on here just picking ONE GUY and making him the scapegoat for EVERYTHING and tearing him apart over and over because they "don't like him".

There are plenty of guys on this team not contributing up to their contract but to pick on the guy that does everything asked of him... plays everywhere on the ice... leaves his body on the ice... gives 100% effort on everything he does..

You f#cks complain over and over about how we need a heart guy.. how we need that over the top play like its his last shift guy.. we need that guy that bleeds for his team and not the prima donnas out there...

That is just chicken sh1t... just absolute chicken sh1t you hypocritical cowards.

And how would we have done that? These trades are easy: "What's the most anyone will give me for player x?" Was GMTM supposed to jedi mind-trick someone into giving more? He is a 3rd line player. What he has done since we traded him is irrelevant.
- Slump Buster

I agree .......... and if he was doing in Buffalo what he is now doing in Anaheim, he never would have been traded.

He was/is a fan favorite that is having a down year. I think that is why people are upset. I never heard anyone say they don't like him.

Vince bud..I admire your passion here but man Girgensons play is not helping his cause. I don't know why but the dude can't stay on his feet. I was at the Ottawa game and he was always falling over. You can't play on the top 6 with players like Reinhart and Eichel if you can't stay on your feet. Also other than the post he hit Z was pretty invisible. Eichel and Reinhart were spinning everyone in circles from Ottawa and Z couldn't keep up

I love it ............ so I basically take from this that pretty much every team has a bad contract on their books and that any team willing to sign Stamkos for $10-$11 million a year for any length of time will sit in the number one spot on this list for many years to come.

Ek says Hall is in play at the draft...

They want a D, a gritty center plus

If we draft 5-10th

Pysyk, Girgensons and our 1st

No, I think that is wrong.

The article is saying he has a bad contract because Tampa did not give him a ten year extension and is playing in the final year of his contract. Bad business for Tampa.

Yeah it's bizarre. Does he think he's drawing penalties? Is he scared to get hit from behind? Maybe it's something to do with the injury suffered late last year? Don't know.

Yeah I don't know why Stamkos is "currently" on this list as that makes zero sense. My point was at the money he will get .. he's gonna be the king of this list for many years to come.

unfortunately i think our best bet is to make him ride his bike to the away games. hes a one trick pony (scoring in the ugly areas on the top line with a very good center) who cant do his trick anymore. hes worthless in a checking role on the bottom 6. theres plenty of other bad contracts to get you to the floor that will at least get you a serviceable player.

Besides Moulson not scoring anymore, he contributes nothing else. He can't make a play and just throws the puck away. They should just bench him.

He has to be in play, he is the only guy who is going to get the kind of return that they need.
