Toronto is in complete melt-down mode. 4 straight goals and they're losing.

So annoying, but it's not as bad as seeing the games go our way, only to have Gionta and colaiacovo lead us to a meaningless victory to negate it all.

Definitely the most annoying part.. This has the makings of Columbus's season last year. Unless Murray does something drastic this off season we're not making the playoffs with this line up next year. In fact we're in danger of being a mediocre 7-12 draft range for a few years unless we get elite talent this off season. One way or another.

I have a feeling Murray will be in major trade mode at the draft. I think he will dangle our 1st rounder out there as well. I know a lot of people think that's taboo with the draft being in buffalo, but I don't see Murray caring one bit. Reeling in a big name is more exciting to me than a prospect that may be 2-3 years away (picks 6 and beyond).

I still don't understand this concept, if anything it would be the other way around. You're hosting the draft in your own building, fans want the franchise to be the centre of attention. What does that better than a massive trade? Pens did it in 12, Devils in 13.

They should trade the pick if they're getting Hall, Shattenkirk or Lindholm. Otherwise this has the makings of a dominate canadian gloat fest in our own arena while we draft a prospect 3 years away from the NHL...

100% agree. The future is more important than the formality of making a draft pick. Go get me an immediate difference-maker.

Doesn't do much though it's nice. We really need Columbus, Calgary, Vancouver and Arizona to keep winning. Winnipeg would be nice too

I want a defensive defenceman and quick passer/skater. Any defenceman represent that?

With the games tonight, the bottom of the standings are really tightening up.

We should just hang on to our cap space and offer sheet McDavid in a couple of years. We owe them one, don't we?

4 first overall picks, a 3rd overall, a 6th overall, 8 top ten picks in the last 9 years, and Edmonton is officially the last placed team with the most games played. If they win this damn lottery again, I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch NHL hockey anymore.

That's the key game for me down the stretch if we have any hope to pass the Jets.

The most points they will have at the end of the season will be 69 or 70. That's it.

They will be finishing 1 or 2.

They won't be able to pay all those #1 picks.

It really doesn't matter, it's just so hard to watch this team make such a mockery of the game. The league changed the rules after Buffalo was dead last for one season, but this team has been pulling the crap for almost ten years now and they turn a blind eye to it.

Very big game Saturday. If we win, we're looking at 76-77 points to finish the year. We'll be well rested and they will be coming off a big upset against LA. Should be an interesting game but we dominated them last game.

Amazing that a well timed loss could put us in third last.

Speaking of the Oil ............... they put a 4 spot on the Sharks in the 2nd and lead 4-3 after 2 periods.

I saw that. Looks like all the bottom teams want to make it interesting.

I wasn't thrilled with the McGinn trade then, and in even less thrilled now.

If that conditional doesn't turn into a 2nd, we really got ripped.

He scored another 2 tonight and could realistically hit 25 on the season.

Speaking of comebacks, how about the amerks scoring 5 3rd period goals to win 6-5. If the kids start and continue to win down there, it will start translating here. I mean, look at the Leaves
