Oh I was under the impression that Moulson had a NMC not an NTC. Well okay then. Bogo does have an NMC according to GeneralFanager. If Murray says he doesn't then maybe he's right but the info that we have says otherwise. Guess we'll see

Moulson 100% is no trade. Bogo everywhere on the internet says he has a no movement but Murray said "We have limited no trade. We have no, no movement. Not that I know of."

Not conclusive by any means but you'd still think he would know if Bogosian had a no movement or not. A player with that many years left on his contract.

Yeah this is what was first released but looks like that will not be the case. Speciafically name McDavid and Eichel as being exempt.

Of course they only take a crappy goalie from Toronto...

McCabe will obviously be one of the three defenceman unless we make a trade and Bogosian is in fact a no movement clause player (debatable)

i think murray protects risto, mccabe, and bogosian. for better or worse, murray acquired bogosian, theres no way he protects pysyk over him, regardless of ntc/nmc rulings. wouldnt shock me if ennis was the best player we left unprotected.

I don't think Pysyk gets protected no matter what... Not really a fan of his. My opinion though.

i think murray protects risto, mccabe, and bogosian. for better or worse, murray acquired bogosian, theres no way he protects pysyk over him, regardless of ntc/nmc rulings. wouldnt shock me if ennis was the best player we left unprotected.

A. Leave Bogosian open to being taken because he realizes that cap with that many years left isn't benefiting the team.
B. Keep Bogosian and trade McCabe for whatever he can get so he doesn't lose him for nothing.
C. Offer to Vegas a deal where they don't take either if we give you a certain package of picks/players.

if the draft is next summer, and the sabres are a bottom 8 team, we may have a different GM protected our assets though

last I checked, no cities/owners have given the nhl an expansion check

If we protect 7 forwards then idk what forwards we'd even have that a team might scoop up... Deslauriers? Schaller? Carrier?

Well he is an RFA after next year so I think his play will dictate what we decide to do with the position in the future. If he looks good and can stay healthy it's a pretty obvious decision.
If he looks mediocre and can't stay healthy and Ullmark looks good in Rochester or here... Murray could have a tough decision to make.

Why would he be?
If the draft is after next season, Ullmark doesn't need protection
And we prob wouldn't have to worry about Ullmark being taken anyways...
Goalies like Subban, Fucale, and quite a few others I can think of would be taken way ahead of Ullmark

As far as I know and have read they will do it after next year or it won't happen for a while. I also believe Quebec for the time being has lost significant chance of getting a team do to the Canadian dollar. If they do I hope it's a relocation not another expansion.
