I would rather have Jake Muzzin from the Kings, they will be cashed strapped.
- SABRES 89

Situation doesnt look too bad, especially with vinny retiring end of the year. Muzzin is on a great contract too.

Yeah, I was gonna say they're not going to let him go, outside of an overpayment. Otherwise I would absolutely agree with you, 89.

The whole 7th street isn't called that anymore is it ?
- SABRES 89

I don't know. I was only on that street once recently. It was a long block of apartments on the part I drove on.

That gang has been keeping the city's crime rate sky high. They spent years clearing them out and vow not to quit till they're all in jail.

I lived right across the street from the church home that I think is closed now, close to the park on the corner.

A couple guys I think fit Murray's "veteran winger from cash strapped team" plan.

-Rick Nash, although I think he's still a part of NY's plans.
-Chris Kunitz (doesn't have as much upside as others on this list).
-Jerome Iginla, Col has to re-sign Mackinnon, so maybe he'll finally get picked up at the airport.
-Marian Gaborik, as a player I think he's my favorite from this list. I just don't like his term (5 years left after this year).

I also think Vanek and Pominville fit the description, but neither seem likely to me. Pominville because of this term left, and Vanek because he's Vanek (unless they're willing to dump him cheap).

Honestly, I'd take Vanek back for a year, if they'd take something around a 3rd rounder for him.

I hope it's none of them, maybe Nash but that is it but he has a NTC.

None as good of options as Sharp, but they're really the only ones that make sense at this point. Things can change between now and the draft though.

They will, but I don't think they're super eager to ship out their #2 defenseman unless it's for our pick in the 6-9 range, and even then I doubt that's enough to get it done, they'd probably want a mid-level prospect back as well.

Hoffman or Stone would be beautiful.

Edit: Hoffman seems a lot more likely though

I'm from the West Side on 7th street, I know a guy
- SABRES 89

I played baseball for a father belle team when i was in high school. The only spanish i know is "mita, mita, mita". Used to go down there for practice. Half the guys were straight off the boat. Best part was every team we played against came correct when we showed up. I think i could have stood on the mound and plunked guys all day long with impunity.

I can't think of any good that could come out of ANY of those guys in a Sabre uniform. I think they'd ruin the locker room for one and the Buffalo press would murder them after their first two week dry spell for two .........

Speaking of crime. 16 members of the Kingsmen motorcycle club with chapters in NT, Lockport and PA, TN and FL. Were indicted today in federal court. I used to deliver pizza to them in NT. Place creeped me out. Cameras everywhere, super heavy duty steel door which was barred at all times. Even with the cameras on the door they still asked who it was through the door when I got there, then when I went inside they barred the door behind me. Funny thing is they were super nice to me and tipped well on top of it. But I read some of the indictment, it was 74 pages, and it made an episode of Sons of Anarchy look downright quaint. It's kind of like one of those things where someone says so and so is such an bumhole, but they've never done anything to you.

I know Murray tried to get Hoffman or Stone for Chris Stewart when we traded for him.
